When using snow chains, pay attention to the following:
Install snow chains before setting off, rather than installing them after encountering icy or snowy roads. Installing snow chains after encountering icy or snowy roads is more troublesome and less safe than doing so in advance. Park your vehicle in a safe area before installing or removing snow chains.
On busy roads, set up necessary traffic warning signs. Do not install snow chains on a flat tire. Snow chains also have size limitations, suitable for different wheel rim sizes and tire widths. Choose snow chains that match your wheel size.
After installing snow chains, generally do not exceed 40 km/h, and avoid sudden acceleration or deceleration as much as possible. Remove snow chains promptly when entering areas where they are not needed. Snow chains are not designed for towing or pulling vehicles.
In cold regions, some car owners make their own snow chains. While this may provide a temporary solution, it is not recommended.
