Selection And Usage Precautions For Iron Chains

Leave a message

Clarify Needs:Understand the chain's intended use (lifting? transmission? binding?), the maximum load it needs to withstand (working load, ultimate load), and the working environment (corrosion, high temperature, dust, etc.).

Select Appropriate Type and Grade:Choose the appropriate chain type and sufficient strength grade (safety factor) based on the intended use. Especially for lifting operations, high-strength lifting chains conforming to standards (such as ISO, DIN, GB) (G80 grade and above) must be used.

Inspect Quality:Check the chain for defects such as cracks, deformation, severe wear, and rust. Check that the markings are clear (usually including manufacturer, grade, and specifications).

Regular Inspection and Maintenance: Regularly inspect the chain's condition during use, perform lubrication and maintenance, and promptly replace chains that are excessively worn or damaged.

Safe Operation: Follow operating procedures and never overload the chain. Lifting operations must be performed by qualified personnel.
