Direct factory manufacturer of high-strength Grade 80 alloy lifting chains engineered for overhead lifting, chain slings, construction equipment, and heavy-duty rigging applications. Fully heat-treated, 100% proof-tested, and supplied with EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates.

Key Advantages

Controlled Alloy Composition (20Mn2 / 20CrMnTi): Manufactured from high-tensile alloy steel with balanced carbon and manganese ratios to ensure maximum strength and fatigue resistance under shock loads.

Automated Continuous Heat Treatment: Advanced quenching and tempering production lines eliminate hydrogen embrittlement and internal structural defects, maintaining a uniform hardness-to-toughness balance.

100% Proof Load Tested: Every single meter of chain undergoes proof loading at 2.5 times the Working Load Limit (WLL) before passing through final visual and dimensional inspection.

Permanent Embossed Traceability: Stamped with "G80" and batch identification numbers every meter for clear job-site compliance and long-term quality tracking.

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between Grade 80 and Grade 70 chain?

A: Grade 80 chain is made from heat-treated alloy steel certified for overhead lifting with a 4:1 safety factor. Grade 70 chain is primarily designed for load tie-downs, transport cargo securement, and towing, but is not approved for overhead lifting.

Q: How is the Working Load Limit (WLL) tested?

A: Every meter of our G80 chain is subjected to a proof test load equal to 2.5 times the rated WLL. Samples from each heat treatment batch are tested to destruction to confirm the 4:1 minimum breaking load (MBL).

Q: Can you supply pre-cut lengths and custom markings?

A: Yes. Chains can be supplied in continuous drum quantities or cut to specific lengths. We also offer custom embossed manufacturer codes or client branding on the chain links for OEM orders.

Q: What export documentation is included with shipping?

A: Standard shipping documents include the Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, EN 10204 3.1 Material Certificate, and Internal Quality Inspection / Proof Load Test Certificates.
