Key Parameters of Chains

Leave a message

Material: Commonly used low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel.

Strength Grade: A core indicator measuring the chain's load-bearing capacity (e.g., G30, G43, G70, G80, G100, etc.; higher numbers indicate higher strength).

Specifications:

Link Diameter: Commonly used for round link chains (e.g., Ø6mm, Ø8mm, Ø10mm).

Pitch: The distance between the centers of two adjacent pins on the chain (commonly used in drive chains and conveyor chains).

Inner Width/Outer Width: The width of the inner and outer sides of the chain.

Surface Treatment: Galvanizing (most common for rust prevention), blackening, carburizing and quenching (to improve surface hardness), plastic coating, etc.

Length: Measured in meters or by a specific number of links.
